The objective was to analyze the erasing of “bodily practice” terminology in Health Promotion actions of the Ministry of Health in Brazil, from 2019 to 2021. A documentary research was carried out based on the Ministry of Health website and adjacent materials using Collective Health as a contribution and in the theoretical-methodological perspective inspired by Foucauldian studies, from the notion of discourse. A total of eight documents were compiled and the analyzes were carried out from October to December 2021. Of all the materials analyzed, only one, the Physical Activity Guidelines for the Brazilian population, makes a brief mention of bodily practices, without considering it in the document objectives or development. In parallel, the actions are strongly pervaded by a notion of physical activity associated with the behavioral spectrum and with a focus on disease prevention. The erasing of bodily practices in the actions of the Ministry of Health represents a disruption in the historical advances in Health Promotion field, especially regarding to the amplification of the human movement sociocultural dimension.
