It presents a cut of data produced from research on the investigation of scientific productions in Science Education, which has shown to be increasingly interdisciplinary and weaves interconnections with different areas of knowledge.The general objective was to describe the contribution of keywords for the interpretation, categorization, and analysis of scientific researches retrieved in three digital platforms. From a methodological point of view, it represents a pertinent opportunity to highlight the contribution of Zipf's Law, the Third Law of Bibliometrics, as an applicable methodological field for research in Science Education and other areas. It is believed that the study can contribute to the understanding of the need to observe linguistic and semantic concepts when choosing keywords that represent scientific production, considering that Systematic Reviews and the Semantic Web imply document retrieval in databases research, and on the internet. The study showed that Zipf's Law allowed us to collect the terms of the documents and to understand with assertiveness the contents and objects portrayed in research in the area, in addition to contributing to the understanding of thematic trends on research in Science Education.
